Welcome to Toston Sonshine Press

Hello,

My name is Diane Frueh.  I have always loved animals and children.  As my own children were growing up, I discovered some kids do not like to read, but almost all children love animals.  So, my Corgi dogs, Siamese cat, horses and ponies decided to help me write for children that have difficulties reading.

I focus on rural children.  My books use images and situations they can relate to and stories that entertain them. Sunshine of the Wilderness is written from Sunshine’s point of view.  Puppies on the Patio is written from Charity Dillon’s viewpoint.  Both the horse and the dog have plenty to say.  Two more of my books are written from a human viewpoint.

I spend much of my time with my two sons, three grandchildren, two horses, three dogs and one cat.

Recently, I remarried, so I am spending most of my time with my husband, Gary.
